Would you prayerfully join us as we seek to encourage and give guidance to those whom God is calling? Not only will your attention to this encourage and spur someone whom God is calling, but it will also foster the environment of sensitivity to the way in which God trains up His followers so they will be receptive to His call.

I cannot thank Christ Jesus enough for the numerous individuals whom He placed in my life. They became solid and steady encouragers, reminding me that God will always equip those He calls. The congregation you shepherd has the tremendous honor of assisting as they give guidance and wisdom to those whom Christ is calling.

Toward that end, Sunday, August 10, 2025, has been designated as “Calling Out the Called” Sunday for Alabama Baptists. Would you reserve that day on your preaching calendar and devote that entire service to preach, teach and sing about the importance of “Calling Out the Called”? As pastor, you have been placed in a most important position of leadership, and your passion for recognizing how God is at work in individual lives and in the lives of the congregation can impact lives and churches for many years to come.
